
About Dr. Michelle S. Meeks
Michelle Meeks, MD received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School of Chicago in 1996. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. After completing her residency, she began her practice at Provident Hospital of Cook County. For the past ten years, Dr. Meeks has practiced in the South Chicagoland area where she has established a thriving practice. Dr Meeks practices the full scope of medicine including newborn care, adult medicine and gynecological care. Her main interest and passion is the Assessment, Prevention and Treatment of childhood obesity. Other interests include prevention and treatment of chronic illness and the clinical use of nutraceuticals . Dr. Meeks also serves as a Nursing Home Physician at St James Manor in Crete and for Glenwood Rehab and Nursing Home in Glenwood. She is also the Medical Director of the Minute Clinic, the Retail Health Clinics of CVS Pharmacy. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and mentoring adolescents.
